We went to the Sunday 2pm showing of The Little Mermaid, it was great!! The show was so well done for a small theatre. The theatre itself is great, the staff was great, overall a great time at the Gretna Theatre we will be back!

The seats at this theatre are too small if you are more than a few pounds overweight. At 225 I couldn't get my backside into them. My back was killing me by the end of the first act, I choose to stand through the end...More

In a quaint community of cottages and towering trees this theatre offers a variety of shows all summer. We have enjoyed many shows at this venue.

Every show I have seen there has been well worth it! The performances are always quality and professional and I love the outdoor setting in Mt. Gretna.

We went to a Sunday 1:00 show but thought to leave early. The event was only half full but parking was terrible. There are a lot of non play goers visiting restaurants and the town. We got there at 11:00 and took one of the...More

We attended An Evening with Groucho played by Frank Ferrante at the Gretna Theater. What a talented individual. If Groucho Marx was there you would not have been able to tell which one was the real Groucho. Unfortunately this was only a four day performance....More

Old, but quaint, outdoor theatre, with parking in the wooded area. Sits among the trees, so bring a jacket on a cool summer eve. Seating is such that most reflect good viewing of the stage! Take a cushion for better comfort on the hard plastic...More

This open theater (it does have a roof) is a wonderful place to see terrific plays, with professional actor-equity actors. The seating is comfortable enough, though you might want to bring a cushion on which to sit, as the seats are hard. Even on a...More

This is an theater outside but under roof. We saw the story of Hank Williams life. It was a very good show, great story, and singing. A lot of songs Hank wrote during his short life. Too bad it was only there a few nights

We did not realize that this theater was semi-outdoors. It is covered by a roof and half wall all around. On a cool September night it got a bit chilly by 9:00PM. They have a snack bar serving lots of different items - including hot...More

On a Saturday night the theatre was full. Although "open air" the lighting and sound were excellent. The actors wore subtle microphones so it was easy to hear anywhere in the theatre. TIP: Go to the bathroom beforehand as facilities are limited
