Nice varied trails, we did the horse/hikers trails so nothing was paved. Wide paths to walk on, can get hilly but nothing overly steep. Do not recommend going during rain or right after rain because it will be muddy.

We go to Ridley Creek State Park for hiking but we see a lot of bikers, dog walkers, picnickers, horse back riders, fishermen, photographers and birdwatchers. The Hunting Hill Mansion seems to host many private events including weddings. The parking is ample but finding the...More

My family loves to hike, we even go on vacations that allow us to hike new places. But we absolutely love Ridley Creek. There are so many different trails to explore and you can make your own path by combining parts of different trails. We...More

Parking is a premium. Asphalt trails and more side trails great for hiking or biking. Old mills and farm houses some very much occupied. Birds and Trout some of the wild life with Deer.

The creek itself is very lovely and changes with the seasons. Apart from the main path which is paved there are many smaller side paths for the more adventurous. Some take you right to the creek and the scenery is lovely.

It is a great place to hike, stroll, bike , or run. There are paved trails throughout the park. You can travel as much or as little of the total trails. Ridley Creek itself is beautiful and calming. There are walkers, runner, and bikers of...More

I use Ridley Creek State Park regularly. The paved loop trail is terrific with varied terrain including hills. Unpaved foot-only trails extend throughout the park. The park is heavily wooded and includes one state record oak. The park is beautifully designed - even though there...More

Ridley Park around the Sycamore Mills section, where Bishop Hollow and Barren Road meet, is a great place to take the family (and/or dog) for a short or long walk! Enjoy!!

No place to purchase food or beverages at the park but many picnic tables at the mansion and at each of the numbered sites, and benches along the trails.

In the past the park hosted group camping, like the Boy Scouts, but I have not seen groups there for a few years. There are no individual campsites.
