Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely campus, beautiful basilica, nice property to tour. Has a 150 yr old gristmill museum, Mr Rogers' museum & Winnie Palmer Reserve & walking trails. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

I wonder if the college is more know for the Steelers training camp or as a college. I came for training camp and found it exciting to be that close to the players in person. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable on where the best photo spots are. I must say from what I saw of the campus was beautiful as well.

Gorgeous campus and wonder staff. Security not as good as it was in previous camps because it's run by college kids .We have been going to camp last 12 years. Looks like a great college to attend.

I traveled many miles from the Lehigh Valley to watch the Steelers at their Training Camp. St. Vincent College serves them well. There is no charge to park no any charge to watch the practice. Not all practices are open to the public-this is understandable.

This is my sixth trip out to Latrobe to attend at least one session of the Pittsburgh Steeler's Training Camp. Of course the athletic fields are first-rate but, above and beyond that, the campus is spectacular! I have interacted with many of the students who attend this university and, to a person, they are friendly, courteous and very mature in the way they handle the diverse age groups of people who attend these funcions. St. Vincent tuition, room and board place it in what I would call the "mid-range" and I'm not sure how much financial aid is available. However, it seemed that many of the athletes from the school were working at various jobs during the camp and, in one student's words, the pay was "pretty darned good!" What an interesting contrast also to see professional football players standing next to the Catholic monks in their hassocks! All in all, it is a great experience if you and/or your kids enjoy football and want to get a look at a great school. There is no cost involved so it's just a matter of gas money to get there and back.

We visited the campus to see the Steelers. We also stopped in at the Bookstore and bought sweatshirts, decals, mugs and notebooks. Lots to see.

The Latrobe community is lucky to have this nice college close by because of the wonderful things they have to offer. The programs are perfect for grad and undergrads. Nice professors and great Catholic priests. My daughter is employed there and they are great to her in every way. The students have so many places to go on weekends or breaks in Western Pa. Close to many stores and restaraunts too. They offer summer theater there for us locals to be entertained in the evenings. The Steelers are a great draw in the summer as they have camp practice there. The church is amazing and masses worth attending. Please consider a visit there or a school choice and I know you won't be disappointed.

I recently attended a conference at Saint Vincent College. My whole visit there was marked by an outstanding spirit of generosity and welcome. I stayed in a dorm and ate at the food court. My room was comfy and the food was excellent. This was a wonderful experience!
