Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

DO NOT GO! It is completely disgusting what Merrymead Farm has done this year. They have such nerve to charge $24 per person to even enter the farm. You must buy the $24 wristband to enter, including just to see the animals or have the privilege of buying their donuts and other food! Absurd!! I get you should have to pay to go on rides, but if you are not interested in the rides or just your kids are, it doesn’t matter. Everyone still has to pay the $24! So a family of four is out $100 bucks before even buying a donut, ice cream or pumpkins. And if you want to bring the grandparents, you are up to $150!! Really Merrymead? It’s simply ridiculous! For those comparing Merrymead to Disney and Hershey Park, give me a break! Our family has been going to Merrymead for 27 years. Our kids are grown now but we still enjoy stopping over to see the animals, eat some delicious apple cider donuts and of course pick up some pumpkins and ice cream. We love the old memories. It’s very sad to say we will never go back. Merrymead is taking advantage of families and it’s horrible. Go to Kohler Farms or Linvilla instead. Trust me!

Went here for many years with small children and as an adult, for Fall Activities. We used to enjoy the activities for the kids and later on the adult activities such as the pumpkin painting, the Harvest Slinger and the hayride. In the past you bought tickets for each activity so you could pick and choose depending on your group. Wow, this year they implemented an event price just to get into the area, of $24 per person which means a family of four pays $96. This is ridiculous price gouging. It's not a theme park. There aren't that many activities and they've eliminated the pumpkin painting and harvest slinger so there's only a couple activities for adults and few for kids. If you want to buy food or to buy the warm cider donuts you have to.pay the $24 to get in where they sell it. They are crazy, we won't be back. There are plenty of farms in the area.

These people are a bunch of jerks. I made a special trip to buy an ice cream novelty. They had TONS of Oreo Ice Cream Sandwiches but no Vanilla. Why would you have no Vanilla? It's the most popular flavor ice cream! I asked 2 clerks there if they could make a special order since there were only 4 customers in the store and about 8 workers. Both clerks said no. Well, you lost my business. And they charge $15 for 6 ice cream sandwiches which is a frigging OUTRAGE anyway. Only the Richie Rich idiots shop here who dont know the value of money. Merry Mead overcharges!! Beware folks - Merry Mead is a rip off!!!

We wanted to get out after all the rainfall so we made our way here. I was SO upset to see the cows cramped together inside pens and even crowded at the outside pen. You have 2 beautiful peacocks that are in a metal enclosure with no grass and one sad looking perch. They really need to do a better job for their animals.

We walked over for ice cream and it was okay- we also bought the apple cider but haven’t tried that yet.

I don’t think we’ll go back.

This farm is a zoo. Besides that fact, my 3.5 year old daughter w special needs was having a hard time so my husband rushed to help her get somewhere quiet, the farmer came off his tractor to yell at my husband and when I spoke to him explaining the situation his first response was “well then you shouldn’t come here”
Wrote an email to facility and they blatantly ignored it. If you have a child with any special needs they are not accommodating and do not care. Beware.

We been buying their milk for our daughter the last 8 years, today my daughter complained that milk had lumps in it, when I checked I could see the lumps when pouring up a glass and was only 2 days after we baught it. Drove back and asked to get a new gallon replacement but they said that is normal with their milk! my daughter never complained about this in past so clearly something was not as normal even if the milk were not bad or old. Anyhow, I told them to keep the gallon with the ”fat” lumps and baught a new gallon. Surprise to hear that a small local farm place like this handle customer complaint with neglect. I will try to convince my daughter to switch to another milk brand. quite a disapointment!

This just isn't worth the steep price. Maze was the best activity but everything else was lame. tickets were 22 dollars a piece on line but then a 7.95 processing fee.two dollars more atthe door but no processing fee. almost a hundred dollars for a family of four. Bounce house was etremely small. don't waste your money.

Went yesterday to Merrymead Farm with my nieces. The wristbands are a great idea! We were able to do all the activities as many times as we wanted until they closed. I felt like a kid again. 😂 I didn’t have to pay for parking, it was clean, and there was enough space to move around. For those saying there isn’t enough to do for the cost, people pay for Disney and Hershey Park who don’t ride rides. It’s about making memories!

I had a great time at Merrymead Farms with my four year old twins until we went to paint pumpkins and saw the veal crates. Compared to Linvilla, Merrymead is great: organized and very clean. But I cannot take my kids to a place where they ask me, "Why are those baby cows locked up?"

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! Had Birthday party here and it was incredibly disorganized not to mention we spent around $300 and they provide you with nothing other then a tent. No help setting up or cleaning up and they kicked us out as we were serving cake! When addressed to manager she was incredibly confrontational in front of all the party goers as well as other customers..very unprofessional. What ever happened to customer service? Was a total disaster and the biggest waste of money and the fact that no one there will rectify what happened speaks a lot about what kind of business they are running.
