We loved the information from the guide at the downtown museum. He gave us a very detailed account of the flood and life during the years before and after.

Includes a movie about the flood. We spent over 2.5 hrs there. Might be too scary for young children.

We found this museum to be very interesting. There were a lot of artifacts and the articles/photos help you get a sense of what happened. If you have the time definitely watch the film.

We went through slowly, took in the excellent film and exhibits and it was about 2 hours, maybe a tad over. Very good presentations, very interesting museum.
