This tribute garden is a nice escape from the day to day lives most of us live. A little slice of “Zen” in the country side and a fitting tribute to the people it was built to thank.

Although this attraction is compact and a short distance from town, it is simply stunning. The colours of the plants and trees contrast superbly with the stream and pond. You need only cross a small bridge to enter the garden, but it is truly a...More

The Chinese Friendship Gardens are really beautiful and a must see if you go to Young. There are many sculptures, lakes and water birds. A great place for a walk, or to read a book. There are also facilities and electric bbqs for a picnic.

Quite surprised at the size of the gardens as they seemed small from the car park. Nice walk around area and lovely picnic area around lake. Not regularly tended it seems as some plants need attention and the water wheel and horse weren't working but...More

What a lovely hidden away gem - the gardens have a lovely layout and feel with plants in wonderful rock formations surrounded by a lake with lots of ducks and other water birds. Great place for picnics or just getting away from it all.
