This tour covered lots of local sites, including Fred Bodel's camp. Driver had been here for 35 years, so knew all the locals ... but the name dropping and the local slang terminology was mostly meaningless to tourists.

Interesting tour especially for hubby as lots of worn out machinery. Enjoyed learning about finding opals and what to look for. Interesting to see how they are rubbed cut and polished and the best scones i have ever tasted.

Sorry, can’t remember but I would certainly remember if it was a rip-off. We thoroughly enjoyed it so must have been well worth the money 👍
