Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a quaint market that had everything you need, both gifts and food. We got everything we needed for dinner. It was nice to support local farmers and merchants. Need a car or bike to access.....long walk. Plan to spend 1 - 1.5 hours.

I’ll be planning future trips to ensure I get to this market. Excellent samosas, the muffin men pastries, both sweet and savoury were delicious. The cheese was some of the best i’ve tasted, good chai, fresh tomatoes and vege’s. It was a nice 45 minute walk from Byron, but for a big shop you’d need a car!

Got there 7.30am and the markets were reasonably full. More than 30 stalls, with just about everything. And all local too. Fruit, veggies, nuts, meats, juice, coffee, seafood, cheese, smoked fish, berries, hot samosas!!! Live music. All social distancing maintained. Spent about $100 on macadamia nuts, sugarcane juice, cheese, fresh prawns & fruit. Reasonably priced too. Bring your own bags to pack any purchase. Enjoyed three samosas, hot off the fryer..pork samosa! That’s a first for me. $12 for three. 2 litres of sugarcane juice for $15..yum...500gms of blueberries for $12..picked the previous night. If you are staying in Byron for a week or so, would recommended a visit here on Thursdays to stock up. Spent a hour overall and most enjoyable.

No wonder it is famous, got to chat to farmers and producers of fine artisanal goods. Took back to hostel and cooked up a storm with the astonishing local stuff. Thanks for everything

This is undoubtedly one of the best farmers markets I have ever been to. The people that grew the produce were the ones selling it. There were specialist growers selling wonderful fresh produce at fair prices. This is so different to what I am used to in Sydney. If you are in Byron Bay on a Thursday make sure you are there bright and early.

This market is small and not a lot of variety. Some of the market stalls were expensive for what they were selling.
The bus takes you for $4 return per person and leaves from the bus stop in the Main Street.

Loads of parking, and a nice collection of farmers produce stands. Highlight was the breakfast from Bloody Good Food stand. They had run out of GF bread rolls but were kind and accommodating, and allowed us to go and buy our own from the baker a few stands away.
