Called past this upstairs bar in Lawson Street, climbed the stairs and found this hip place.
Ordered a couple of Margaritas and sat on the front seats overlooking the street and watched the personalities parade past.
Lovely friendly staff I will be back for a feed in the near future.

A great place for cocktails and interesting light meals, either before or after dinner. A more grown up crowd and sophisticated offerings and atmosphere than the other bars in town servicing the younger market. Very cool decor and vibe for the more discerning punter.

The quality of the drinks and bar service was great.
Music was entertaining but failed to get anyone on the ample dance floor. DJ seemed more interested in his own set than getting anyone off their seats.
Toilets are clean and tidy located up the end behind the DJ desk, only negative was the lack of signage which could be seen from the dance floor or bar.
All in all it was a pleasant evening.
Id recommend a visit

Went for a cocktail with a few friends, I would have to say it was probably the worst cocktail I’ve ever had. Between us we had 3 different cocktails and none of the selections were nice. Full glasses were left and when I gave the wait staff feedback about the drinks he just said ‘all right’ and walked off. $100 spent for terrible drinks and rude service! If I could give zero stars I would, very disappointing.

I would give this a -5 stars. Had a booking. Called to confirm. Claimed to have a function so had us rebook. Turn up and then get turned away in a condescending manner. They deserve to get zero business and shut down immediately. Locura means craziness and that is exactly what they are. Horrible experience and horrible service. Stay away.

Ordered to spiced passion cocktail and it was unbelievably spicy!! I couldn’t believe it, my boyfriend even tried it and we were sure it was a mistake. I have it back to the bar staff and they agreed that they’d messed up. Other than that, it’s a nice bar but the service is really really slow as there’s only 1-2 people working the floor.

Insanely good food, the chef is on point! Ceviche, toastiades, pickled vegetable salad top off with a bloody good margarita. If you want a chilled tapas and a good cocktail then come here!!!!

Came here on monday night because a friend had said they'd seen great DJs play over the weekend. Thought I'd pop by for a quick drink before heading home around 11pm and to my surprise there was a packed dancefloor full of huge smiles. The staff were bringing such a great vibe and ended up meeting a bunch of lovely locals. Beers were only $5 - a special that happens every monday apparently... If a monday was this good, can't imagine a friday

The tacos and ceviche are crazy. Staff are always lovely. Tequila options are on point and the music is significantly better than any other venue in Byron.
