We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Byron St is the commercial area of this small community and has a Heritage Walk which outlines the history of this town building by building. Surprisingly the town only dates from tje first decade of the 1900s as shown in the photos

Fancy a lovely cup of tea? You won't find many cafes around here serving tea in a beautiful pot and china cups. Beautiful tranquil setting and an old house with lots of interesting details to entice you to return. Staff (all volunteers) are fabulous, thank you!

My friend and I headed to Bangalow to try out this lovely old place. We love old houses and enjoyed a coffee and cake while we were there. The service was quick and the lovely staff were very pleasant. The price is comparable to other cafes. They have got some unusual things to look at in the museum part of the house. We had a nice and comfortable time there.

Step back in time and enjoy something really lovely from a lovely team of volunteer staff. Tea and scones, and the best potato fritters (scallop) you'll ever have, I highly recommend a visit to Heritage House! Wheelchair friendly, great for kids, families, small groups and big groups!

Located behind is a park with Bangalow's history laid out. From early indigenous times to the current day is a walking trail telling of the fish travelling upstream to spawn to the swimming pool located here until a generation ago, walking the trail provides a glimpse into the past and is well worth spending time doing.

Bangalow Heritage house is a great spot for morning tea. Offering a lovely selection of cakes and slices made by local Bangalow people. Being situated off the main street- but within easy walking distance- parking is readily available. Also next to a wonderful park which is great for kids and dog friendly.

Our Garden Club booked for a Christmas Luncheon, and were again blown away by their delicious buffet. These ladies should be commended for their amazing cooking skills. This 3 course meal ie. main, dessert, coffee/tea was fabulous and we all had a great time ! If you advise them in advance they will also cater for dairy intolerance, gluten free etc and you wont be disappointed. Their coffee, devonshire teas and cafe meals are exceptional too, but make sure you take a stroll down town afterwards in their unique country shops. You're bound to find something very special !

The Devonshire teas here are excellent. They have a variety of scones. Have to say that the date scones were very tasty, served with a lovely pot of Earl Grey tea, while relaxing on the verandah. Highly recommended!

We visited initially to see the museum but stopped for afternoon tea -- somehearty country-style sandwiches and a very well made flat white coffee and a pot of peppermint tea accompanied by a scone with jam and cream. The museum is interesting. Entry is by donation. Currently, the museum is not open on the weekend, but that may change.
