This is a beautiful and quiet place to visit. Small coffee shop, in summer had goal posts, table tennis tables and volley ball nets, made our birthday picnic perfect followed by rounders :)

Osterley Park was once in the heart of the Middlesex countryside but is now surrounded by the West London suburban sprawl. In spite of that and the low flying aircraft and the nearby roaring motorway, it manages to retain a rural feel. The Piccadilly line...More

After a walk round the ground on a beautiful autumn day, we went for coffee and a snack. There were wooden picnic tables set out in the courtyard and it was glorious to sit out and enjoy fresh scones, and cakes.

Horace Walpole described Osterley as ‘the palace of palaces’. His own house, not far away at Strawberry Hill, was an extravaganza of Gothick Revival, full of art and other treasures that were dispersed in a great auction in 1842. The original house at Osterley was...More

The website says £7 for parking but it might be best to phone them +442082325050 to be sure. Also, they might then clarify the website.

Not that far as planes can be seen flying overhead at a low height. Heathrow is nearby as the crow or plane flies. So by car it takes longer, but it is worth the journey, and wont take long.
