The park is home to Woodbank Stadium and the Stockport Harriers Athletic Club.
We were there for the annual Stockport 10 winter race.
Well organised event, refreshments available for the spectators.

Absolutely loved this place. We couldnt believe we had never been before. Walked along the river through the woods it was beautiful. Then took the steps back up into the park. Some lovely trees and its all really well kept. Well worth a visit.

Easy to park the car and walk through the park which is mostly large grassed area and some shrub. Really rather boring overall. Best things were the little garden centre and the cafe just inside next door Verson Park.
