Absolutely beautiful Cathedral in downtown Harrisburg. You can see the Capitol as well as the Susquehanna River from the entrance. Father Richardson knows how to provide a beautiful mass as well. There is no crying room however you can take young children to the basement/cafeteria...More

The Cathedral is located in the shadow of the Pennsylvania State Capitol. It's a large granite building in the Baroque Revival style. It's free to visit and is usually open for visitors. It's a nice stop and an easy add-on to include on to an...More

Always look for catherdarals or church's when travelling. Some are really nice while others are simple This place was not overly large but very beautiful in side for sure. Really glad we took a look

Have been attending mass with a friend. For many years I viewed this beautiful cathedral from the outside but I never imagined the beauty that was held inside. Magnificant. The mass is very welcoming to all.

The architecture is magnificent and while its facade is rather unremarkable, the interior is majestic. It is a must see a few steps away from the Capitol Building, which offers tours. A must see.

When you walk inside the cathedral you will say WOW. You could sit there all day and just be in amazement of the structure.

Although the front is somewhat tucked away between buildings, the inside is very majestic and beautiful. The church exudes calm and quiet. I would recommend stopping by here to say a few prayers and soak in the beauty. The vestibule has a few artefacts about...More

Harrisburg is a beautiful city downtown. The cathedral is a close walk to the Capitol building, some other nice churches, and a vibrant restaurant scene.

I believe that you are able to take photos unless there is a mass going on.
