Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We recently visited PA and had some time available. I wanted to visit a winery and this was close by. I did the tasting, which was reasonably priced. Server was friendly & nice but did not care for the wines at all. Too grape forward.

Very out of the way, the place was empty , the wine was mediocre to say the most, the set up for the tasting was cute , but the place was dead , no ambiance and wines were not true to names

About 20 mins. from Harrisburg. Very nice place for purchase or tasting of wines (oh and BTW....since it's been mentioned in other reviews, very few wineries/breweries let you "taste" their products for free....always a charge!) Tasting = 1.5 oz. x 5 for $5. Great selection of wines, all types, white to red, dry to sweet. If it's a warm day (or not), try their "slushy bomb".....it is DELICIOUS! They also have a daily made, sangria (peachy)...it's also very good....but they will tell you, no preservative, so it might spoil in a week or so and must be refrigerated after opening! Looks like a residence...go down the driveway and park in the back.

Great out of the way place to stop at outside of Hershey/Harrisburg! Great, friendly staff! Lots of extras! We loved their homemade sangria!

Wine was good. We purchased a bottle and were told when we went to pay that there was a tasting fee of $5 each - not refunded with a purchase. The server never told us there was a tasting fee and the selection sheet did not mention this either. Samples were the smallest we have ever been served.

J & P located a little over a mile beyond Hollywood Casino in Grantville, PA. The first time we visited we decided to follow signs we saw for the winery. This trip was to restock.

Very friendly, personable, staff who are knowledgeable about their product. My wife enjoys a sweet wine and really took to the Chardonel and Fredonia. The grapes used for the Chardonel, I am told, was developed at Cornell University.

We will be visiting again and I’m sure it will be time to restock again. Worth a stop.

We stopped at their new tasting room in Gettysburg, PA. We favor sweet wines and these were excellent. Our favorite is the Raspberry Merlot. We found the staff to be friendly the the number of pours was generous. We intend to return for another round of tasting and purchase.

Most of the wines were very good. The only disappointment was Niagra. This grap should be consistent everywhere but theirs didn’t even has the Niagra smell let alone taste. $5 tasting for 5 wines. We we offered several others on the pourers recommendations. Overall it was a good place. If they want to do any upgrade I’d suggest utilizing the beautiful dogs out back. Everyone loves a dog! They can still be penned up but offer a better pen to observe them!

Went there for an event they posted which was supposed to be an Apple Festival from 1pm - 4pm on Saturday and THERE WAS NO FESTIVAL! People were saying they just advertised that to get people there! Terrible business! We were being waited on by a woman that said it was her 2nd day and she was so rude and walked away and never came back! Paid $5 for wine samples but received many more by the owner which was nice but the wines are so cloudy and tons of sediment in the bottle. Then they have this cage right in front of the building that has 3 dogs (may have been more) that look so sad and unkept. They stared at everyone and wanted left out so bad! Was awful! The grounds are unkept. They've been open for 4 years and now I see why it hasn't taken off. Would NEVER go here again!

We were greeted by Jenny Cernek. She and her husband, Paul, are the owenrs. My wife and I requested the 5 flight wine tasting, but, once we got into the discussions about the wines, they sought to broaden our tasting experence with other wines at no additional charge. We also enjoyed the cheese and meat platter for between tastings. We decided on a mix of reds and fruit wines (blackberry, red raspberry) for a case selection. Paul also came over to help explain the different wines we were tasting. Very enjoyable and recommend this stop for wine tasting. BTW, the grapes are from the NYS Finger Lakes region, well known for producing popular wines. The fermenting and mixing of the wines are done locally.
