If you enjoy small theaters you will love Totem Pole Playhouse. It was founded by Jean Stapleton and her husband. The actors and actresses are very good. The theater sits in the middle of the pines at Caledonia State Park. The theater is air conditioned...More

Totem Pole has money problems and it looked like they were folding. But, serious campaigning and donations came through and the theatre is open and presenting programs for the 2013 season. They opened the season with Sally Struthers' one-woman show. We went on the opening...More

We don’t go as often as we would like, but go as much as we can. We have never been disappointed. From the first interaction with customer service to last hurrah, and everything in between - we just love it here.

A visit to the Totem Pole Playhouse is a memorable experience every time. The current play "Mama Mia" is easily one of the best productions we have seen in our 40 years of going to Totem Pole.

This was our first time to the Totem Pole Playhouse and it proved to be a very enjoyable one. The seats were great, the performers were awesome, and the prognosis for a return visit, is very good.

That's a good question: What Do You Expect from a Country Playhouse? I know what I expected. Something OK. Titled "Murder for Two," the play/musical seemed inviting enough. Besides, we were guests of dear friends. No complaints! But we have some. First, why couldn't I...More

The setting is fantastic nestled in a state forest. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The theater welcomes buses and small groups with the same attitudes as individual customers. The price is right for the quality of shows that they put on.

Nice small theater nestled amongst the woods, really nice venue, and theater itself is not huge. Refreshments served during intermission.
