The museum building was once a prison; now it has the pleasant sensation of keeping the trouble of the world out. There was a nice balance between the permanent collection of local Impressionists (some excellent Daniel Garber, among others) and other exhibits. On our visit,...More

Went for the live music and was very entertained. Before the music started you had the chance to explore the museum which was pretty empty. Some great pieces of art.

This is a great place to visit if you want to enjoy lunch in one of the nearby restaurants, walk around a bit, and then get some cu.ture. The exhibits are well done. Since the museum is small, you will need only and hour or...More

The building is stunning and the various art works are well displayed. We especially liked some of the indoor and outside sculpture and the furniture. Bright and light buildings and the ideal setting for the collection.

Very impressive painting by local artists from past 150 years. The woodworking pieces were what I enjoyed the best.
