This is an excellent regional museum. Take advantage of a docent tour. Rotating exhibits are always engaging.

a visit to this museum is always a pleasure. they have a lot of thoughtful, engaging exhibits and even if whatever is current is not my interest, I never tire of the permanent collection - a lot of wonderful work.

Went for the live music and was very entertained. Before the music started you had the chance to explore the museum which was pretty empty. Some great pieces of art.
