Great state park about an hour from the city. There is a swimming area, playground, hiking, and camping. I have not camped here, but occasionally drive up and enjoy a nice hike. Great place to bring the kids to swim on a hot day.

Keystone is a smaller sized state park with swimming and fishing, limited camp sites, several pavilions, etc. Not much goes on around New Alexandria. Good family park.

Keystone State Park is a wonderful park to do just about anything. The lake is superb for kayaking and fishing. The walking trail around the lake is fairly flat and easy to follow. Lots of picnic tables and a wonderful fairly new kids playground.

We tent camp at state parks every summer but this is the worst I've stayed at. Nothing is walking distance and there is no camp store. We stayed at the Hillside camp because the other one was closed for some reason. The spot was mud...More
