Beautiful scenery a long a road from a bygone era. Plenty of old road sites think Route 66. Mother Hubbard motels, others Old Lady in the Shoe shape cabins or a huge coffee pot. Just a fun ride off the interstate.

If you have an opportunity, this is one Great Highway to travel. Not quite as fast, but peaceful and relaxing. Wish I could spend more time on the Lincoln Highway. Lots of Posted Points of Interest and great Photo ops.

Just a great place to take a drive through one of the more historic areas of the country. As a kid I was a passenger on this road many times but had no idea what I was seeing. Well worth the time.

There were a number of antique shops we encountered while driving the Lincoln Highway between Irwin and Bedford. I searched online ahead of time and had a list with addresses, as a few were just off Rt. 30.
