Enjoyed seeing the houses that had been moved here and listening to the interpreters even though at this time of the year there weren't many. Took us about 2 hours to tour the Village and I'm sure when there are more interpreters it would take...More

We stopped by here on the way to Virginia and it was very nice. The folks portraying early settlers do a nice job and answer questions about the area and the era.

The kids had a good time and learned a bit of history! They had fun with the scavenger hunt. The staff was friendly and helpful. My daughter loved feeding the horses.

You arrive and step back into time. Many structures with authentically dressed people. Many of them are knowledgeable about the structures.

Been here a few times and never disappoints. Take a trip back in time to enjoy the day and see how others once lived.

I came to OBV to learn more about how my ancestors, who lived in Bedford County in the 1700s, lived. There were interactive stations for wool dyeing, tin punching, ax throwing, and even children's games. Interpreters were friendly and informative. What a great learning experience!
