We cycled over here on our bike tour. Lovely views from the city on this bridge. I really enjoyed crossing it.

This is a beauty of bridge and makes walking and biking across much more fun and easy. Connecting the East and West Sides of the city is advantageous in so many ways. You can rent an orange bike and explore the eastside neighborhoods conveniently from...More

Went here recently for a short walk. The parking can be a pain but there are a couple pay lots close or a 10 minute walk is street parking for free. The bridge is clean and quiet due to the use by the Tri-Met only....More

Tillicum Crossing serves walkers, joggers, bicyclists, and MAX light rail but no cars or trucks, a wonderful statement on Portland's values regarding transportation. From the center of the bridge there is a lovely view of downtown Portland and the Willamette River.

This is a great walk or bike bridge. Took friends from out of town there to see the city and the river. Great views and easy walk. Watch out for the bicyclists. Recommend to everyone.

I run across this bridge every day as part of my 6 mile route. I don't have to worry about cars and trucks or inhaling direct exhaust. I don't have to worry about waiting for a bridge raising for boats. The only problem is all...More

The bridge has an electronic bike counter (on the downtown side) that makes a great spot to grab a photo with your bike number. Fun ride and great views from one of the higher bridges in Portland.

At a regular walking pace I would estimate it would be a bout 20 minutes... the bridge is a 1/2 mile across.

I’d suggest doing a daytime walk about to get your bearings then return at night...possibly from the OMSI (East side). Good luck!
