System is easy to use, cheap, and clean. I am not one to talk to people on the train, but people were friendly and it was a great experience. Defly use this from the airport when going downtown Portland, it takes you right downtown. Easy-peasy.

Portland is a great city to walk. However on those days when the weather is bad or you don't want to walk, this a great alternative to get around Portland. There are various lines that you can take to your Portland stops.

I have always used the Portland TriMet system when coming to town. Never have had a negative experience. Wish there was a transit system like this where I live.

Maybe our 2 trip were the exception but it was nauseating and scary. When we got on in the morning for a trip to downtown the coach stuck and we soon noticed a homeless person with all his belongings hanging from various seats and handles....More

There are certain times of day you simply don't want to be on the road. They make the train easy to find and so convienient to use. The traffic is really bad at rush hour like many cities.

If you don’t want to feel stressed while driving the slow moving freeway, or circling the Downtown core looking for a parkade, the TriMet solves it all. For $2.50, an adult can ride up to 2 1/2 hours in any direction or $5 for a...More

Efficient but it rains often and the shelters where you wait don’t protect you from bad weather. They should be shielded on the sides.

Easy to use, inexpensive, fast, efficient. relatively clean, went pretty much everywhere I wanted to go. I know a lot of people cheat the system but in the long run, that will come back to bite them because the system will have to hire people...More
