Uber cool PDX lives here, one of a kind shops line the streets, and you will not see one fast food franchise here. Bollywood Theater has some amazing Indian cuisine.

You can find many restaurants to eat at on Alberta street. I recommend stopping at Salt & Straw for ice cream and trying Petite Provence.

Maybe previous reviews set our expectations too high, but we were totally disappointed. There are some nicely painted homes, some restaurants and clothing stores, all with the requisite "eco friendly" signs, and not much more. Hardly worth the trip over.
