The Portland Rose Garden is one of the best in the Northwest. The garden is laid out in an easy to meander plan, and I love that every rose in the garden is labeled. The hillside location is one of the most beautiful spots in...More

We walked a small portion of this area after visiting the Japanese Gardens across the way. There are too many varieties of roses to name. There is a very helpful map to guide you through the gardens; it also allows you to go to view...More

The test garden was a beautiful multi level, multi color, multi scented rose garden. This garden is a free test garden with people creating their own type of roses. Fascinating and colorful! Hundreds of different roses! Have to visit to experience!

There is parking on the hill to enjoy this venue. Certain times of the year and some weekends, it may fill up quickly, so be aware. The lots aren't huge. I actually rode the Max to the Zoo location. Rode the elevator up and hopped...More

It was definitely worth going to... If you are a botanist, florist, or physiologist I'm sure you would appreciate it more than I did. The bike ride up was beautiful and it is close to the Japanese Garden.
