We walked through here most days and nights. It's a really nice stretch of waterfront. Good views all across the river.

Most days I walk along a mile of the west side of Tom McCall Waterfront Park. While you have to be careful of fast moving bicyclists, there are surprisingly few collisions. The waterway walk is a very European-like experience since you can stroll awhile and...More

This is a nice place to go for a walk and see the Willamette River as well as the down town area of Portland. If you are into people watching, this is the place. Depending on the time of year, they have activities going on...More

Loved the scenery walking along the river. A fascinating combination of natural beauty, industrial ingenuity, funky commercialism, and civic pride.

Nice park, a bee hive of activity. Can get pretty crowded on nice weekends in the Summer. Lots of homeless as there is all over downtown Portland, but the paths are wide and there's room for everyone. Definitely worth a visit if it's your first...More

This is a great park and waterfront area. There are fun fountains for the children to play in, you can bike or walk, sit and enjoy of the views. The only down side are all the homeless people that are around the area. It's sad!

Expense of green next to Willamette River in west Portland. Portand is one of the few cities to have relocated a section of its interstate freeway from the west to each side. Good for walking and picnics.

Delightful place to walk by the water and enjoy the fresh air in Portland. We walked it several times - but never the entire route - just the one close to downtown.

The waterfront park which is owned by the city of Portland is free except certain events. Even during events, one can still access to the park itself without any charge.
