This is a great place to spend a day. It has a Zoo, Japanese Garden and Botanical garden. Great for walking if the weather is nice. It can be reached from the city on the Blue or Red line Tri-Met train.
This park is a gem. It's absolutely beautiful with lots of hiking opportunities. Be prepared to hike uphill, but it's not a difficult hike to the Witches' House. You can hike further. The trails can be a little wet so wear appropriate shoes.
Truly nature in the city. Washington Park has much to offer residents as well as visitors. The Zoo, The Children's Museum, Hoyt Arboretum, and the World Forestry Center are exciting places for all to see.
