We had a reservation at the winery for the Library Wine Tasting which included a meat and cheese board. While the tasting room in town is very nice, it was fun to taste the wines at the winery itself. Dave was a fabulous host and...More

My husband and I reserved a library tasting at the actual winery while visiting Oregon on our spring break. We met with Dave who made the experience outstanding! We had a nice selection of both white and red wines, which Dave personally selected for us...More

This place is definitively worth stopping into on your way into or out of wine country. The wines were fantastic, the services was amazing and there "Back Room" was playing live music, which was a lot of fun! So glad we stopped in.

We reserved a private tasting at the actual Newberg winery location and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We walked the property with the manager, actually met several of the family members who were having a meeting on the porch during our tasting, and got to taste...More

It was strangely quiet at this tasting facility where you can chose to do the standard milling about the small bar area for a tasting or go to the back room for casual seating; sometimes musical entertainment and nibbles. Great wines; knowledgeable and attentive staff....More

Sips of the white wines were tasty. I truly mean sips, although a special taste of a German wine was good. Wasn't impressed with the backroom where they were setting up for live music. No munchies between the sips. Kinda pricey $15 for 6 sips...More

This is only a tasting room, not a winery. It is located on the main highway and not among the vineyards. Nothing fancy about the location. The staff was very helpful and informative and there was a good selection of wines. Unless you are just...More

In town location lacks appeal of wineries located just outside of town. Wines are decent, not spectacular but not bad. Staff was very nice and knowledgeable.

I have become a great fan of Ribbon Ridge AVA wines, and this winery, along with their "sister" winery RR Winery (available at this location for purchase, as well) make this a must stop for a tasting. Tasting rooms in small towns, such as this...More

Yes! Our host at the Chehalem Tasting Room pointed us to a restaurant, Ruddick/Wood, about a block away for lunch when we visited. It was a great recommendation. It's kind of a funky restaurant, but the food was very good... More
