Nice trail to walk. But the public parking is not safe for your vehicle or personal safety. No lighting, Be aware of your surroundings.

The start of the trail can be found at past the veterans war memorial at the outskirts of Klamath Falls. Memorial is beautifully kept and worth a stop off. The link trail is easy walking and follows the link river to the lake. We continued...More

The trail isn't really anything special; it runs along the river and is less than 1.5 miles long, but there are many different types of birds to see. At each end of the trail there is a sign depicting birds and corresponding names. Make sure...More

It's a gravel path with a few off shoots down to the river. Some nice birds along the way. Easy walking. Klamath falls should probably be called klamath Rapids though.

This is not a 'trail' that goes through vegetation along the river. River can be viewed in spots. There are much better trail with views further uphill.

Birdwatching Is an excuse for a walk. I do not refer to it as a hike because the trail is but a gravel road. Fun walk. Do carry water as it can get warm.

Yes, dogs are allowed on leash according to the sign. I let my dog have a long lead and he enjoyed the walk.
