Even though I suffer greatly from vertigo, I so enjoyed this tram ride and a fun lunch at the top. People who complain about the restaurant should get a grip and realize what it takes to run a place that is supplied via same tram....More

The hikes at the top of Mt. Howard are easy and offer breathtaking vistas. We went early in the morning and I would recommend that because it was pretty busy in the afternoon when we left.

Rode the Tramway on June 30th. We ate breakfast at the small restaurant at the top. Food was okay. View from the top is spectacular. Adults cost $35 and kids are $25. They give a military discount but no AAA discount.

A trip on the tramway is a wonderful way to see beautiful Wallowa Lake and the surrounding peaks and valleys. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress in layers. The Grill on the top has a nice menu for families and couples. I enjoyed the cheeseburger...More

I highly recommend going on the tramway at least once in your life...I was nervous but enjoyed the beautiful scenery and had a very delicious lunch at the top! Very memorable day!

We took the gondola up Mt Howard and did some hiking around the top. The views from the car going up and down were spectacular. The views from the summit were even more impressive. The tramway is not inexpensive but I'm sure the operating costs...More

Stating that we were underwhelmed is an understatement. While The ride up was absolutely beautiful, the entire experience just couldn’t take the bad taste out of our mouths-and I’m not just talking about the garbage they serve you at the hilltop restaurant. I literally saw...More

It was a treat all the way up the mountain. We were with an elderly man and he did fine. The operations are good with instructions. When we got up top there was a bit of snow but some of the trails were east to...More

I'm agreeing with the others here. I seriously considered saving the money--it came to something a bit over $100 for our group. Then I marveled at how many towers this tramway has, the capital investment that is not... More
