This is a great river since it flows conveniently down the middle of Bend, sits near restaurants and as of 2-3 years ago is safer as well as more fun with a wave park area built into it. Otherwise, Oregon has far more beautiful rivers...More

Was such a fun way to spend two hours in the sun. There were a few little rapids to make things a bit more exciting. Be sure to wear water shoes! We ended at Drake Park and for $3 caught the shuttle back to Riverbend...More

Great way to spend a hot afternoon. We started near old mill and floated on big inter tubes down to the Drakes Park. And, did it again.

We loved floating down the river with our dog, and at the end my husband took the shuttle to get our truck and pick up our raft, dog & me. The shuttle has a trailer for rafts, but doesn't allow dogs. We had our own...More

If you're 35 or more, you remember the Robert Redford movie by that name. If not, don't worry about it, just enjoy the river. The Deschutes I see Bends finest asset, during the warm months. Come summer, there's nothing more relaxing than a float down...More

Loved the atmosphere and the beer! And this is a town that knows craft beer. Dog friendly. Lots of sports to view. Parking easy.

We bought tubes at big 5. We had a foot pump and they were easy to blow up and then we set ourselves in the river and floated away! There is plenty of warning at the rapids. They are not hard to go through but...More

No guided tours for the float down this section of the river. You just follow the other “floaters”. The river is safe, current slow and the experience absolutely wonderful!

You can rent paddle boards and the current is mild. You’d don’t have to go anywhere near the rapids
