    We always stop
Some dear friends introduced us to FRC and we’ve been stopping every since. There’s 3 styles of Mac and cheese. Our favorite is the smoked. It’s made in advance and they do run out. Of course, you have to have ice cream after you eat. Umpqua ice cream with generous portions. There are picnic benches outside to eat.

    Good Cheese Please
We were interested in cheese here and while it was a self-serve atmosphere, were able to sample several before deciding on smokey cheddar. Very nice with some pita crackers. Lots of people here eating ice cream, so I must guess this is also good choice.

Not only great Cheese to purchase but a Restaurant too!
This was such a fun stop along the coast of Oregon on HWY 101. The Creamery was filled with interesting gifts and goodies. The cheese they make was available to buy. Do not pass up the (garlic) Vampire Slayer! We also got Onion & Chive. The restaurant had a Manager's Special that day of burgers with Onion & Chive on them. So good! And of course we saw so many people with the ice cream we had to get a scoop on the way out.

Outstanding food, excellent location, friendly staff and really fair prices! This is a must stop if you are in Bandon. I had the cheese panini with turkey and it was delicious! Highly recommend.

While an in-person experience may be significantly better, I can't say their online shop/service instills any sense of loyalty or willingness to buy from them. My one and only experience has been extremely poor.

To start, their info and orders email accounts don't appear to be manned, or they just chose to ignore the messages I sent to both addresses, with my order number in the subject. I started emailing them when USPS had miss-routed my shipment asking if it would survive the extra transit time, should I be concerned, etc. No responses to any of them.

When my shipment finally arrived, a full 6 days after it was shipped out which in and of itself was a full 5 days after my order was placed, the cold packs had long since given out, the cheese was at 72 degrees Farenheit, definitely not refrigerated or safe.

So I did exactly as their FAQ on their website stated to do, I called their Orders and Shipment department the next day (they were closed the day my package arrived), which rang to voicemail. No big deal, I left a voicemail with my name, phone number, order number, and the issue. After 3 hours, I didn't get a call back, so I called again. This time I finally talked with someone who essentially did not care and told me to file a claim with the post office, but she'd talk with her manager and see what they could do and call me back the following morning. If you're guessing I never did get that call, you're correct. Since Face Rock has made it clear they have no interest in working with me to make things right or help, I've filed a complaint with Shop and with my credit card.

Employees had a terrible energy at the Coos Bay location, on 2 different occasions, 2 different ladies.

We were also disppointed on our first visit when we realized their ice cream was store-bought, not home-made like we thought. Then we waited by the ice cream area of the building for close to ten minutes while 2 employees talked and ignored us the entire time. We left because no one was willing to help us.

My husband and I went there back in September as part of our Anniversary trip.

We love Face Rock cheese and our absolute favorite is the vampire slayer cheese curds. Nothing beats getting them directly from the source!!

We had lunch there and both had the smoked Mac & Cheese. OMG crazy good!! The noodles were perfectly cooked, the sauce was really creamy and everything was well seasoned. They also have a wine selection there and had a deal where you spent x amount on wine, you could get a free bag of cheese curds. We ended up buying 4 bottles of wine I believe and also bought more curds. We came home with so much of the vampire cheese curds, it was great. The service there was good and the ladies there at the time were very friendly and talkative. We'll definitely be back!!

was disappointed that the "creamery" served store-bought ice cream. the cheese looked appealing, but a creamery should serve items made on site.

It had been several years since a visit to Bandon and the Bandon Cheese Factory, and we discovered it looked a little different. But the ice cream and servings were still first-rate! We were so happy we stopped!

My husband and I stopped for a couple of nights in Bandon in 1995 and happened Bandon Cheese Factory (or whatever it was called). We sampled several cheeses and bought some as we continued our road trip up the coast. Recently I looked up Bandon Cheese and discovered Face Rock Creamery which I think may be a new name for Bandon Cheese or maybe not. I do know it's in the same location.

I looked at Face Rock's web page and discovered I could order cheese to be delivered to my home in Florida in a timely way. I ordered a variety of cheeses, and they arrived today. I've now tasted them all and am so pleased with each one. They are different, but all are delicious. I will definitely place another order in the future.
