Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This park used have free Mondays. No more, now it is $10.00 for adults, $6.00 for kids, and $3.00 for pets all the time. Members only, $171.00 for families, are allowed at its Long Branch Farm & Trails property. A pretty expensive walk in the woods. No breaks for low-income people. How is this place a non-profit? If you want to restrict access to parks, this is your place.

It was nice but coming from an area with nice walking trails already (upstate New York) it didn't feel special in any way. The trails are nicely marked but it doesn't seem to offer a lot more than the many free trails in upstate NY- ok water views and mostly trees. It seems like it is set up for kids' camps and things like that. If you lived close, it seems like it would be a nice community to take advantage of as a member but as an out of state visitor from areas that have nicely forested walks already, I'm not sure it offers any travel value. It's a nice area though. The cost grated on me a little.

My husband and I have been yearly members for over 10 years. While COVID certainly put a damper on our visits, it didn't stop us from going and enjoying the variety of paths (differing in levels of difficulty) with our dogs.
Even though I don't come here very often, I appreciate the fact that it is available whenever I choose to come.

The nature has been pushed aside for money. All the commercial things for bringing in money have become common place, and it is now very hard to find a place to enjoy an uninterruped walk.
Dogs out number people and most are not on a leash.

If you like the hike this is the place near Cincinnati, Ohio. It is becoming very commercial with some sort of simulated play ground in the middle of what was once a nice field. You will find it less crowded if you hike south to the creek and the trails beyond. They no longer have a free Monday and it is getting a little pricey for day passes. Seems to have lost some of the natural feel it use to have my last visit. But well worth the time to visit and the day pass for some great hiking trails once you get away from the playground and main entrance area.

I was honestly shocked by how beautiful the Cincinnati Nature Center is!
Great place for hiking and relaxing all year round.
Something I didn't realize is how large the grounds are.
Plenty of trails for both short and longer walks/ hikes.
Highly recommend!

Cincinnati Nature Center is a local gem. Lovely place for all ages. Lots of trails for all abilities. Peaceful and beautiful. Two different sites, one in Eastgate and smaller one in Goshen.

Some of the information in other reviews is incorrect. There are no outhouses that I know of! Indoor restrooms are in the main building and other buildings as well. Dogs are not allowed off-leash and this is strictly enforced. This is a large Nature Preserve that is free to the public on weekdays. You can walk in all types of terrain, and volunteers are available in the visitor center to answer questions about wildlife. The CNC is used by schools throughout the year and also offers great classes for children and adults as well as night time hikes for owls and other interesting topics. There are also wonderful summer camps for kids. One project that has been initiated in the past few years is education about planting indigenous wild flowers such as milkweed in order to help Monarch butterflies survive. I highly recommend the CNC to all who would benefit from a serene walk in Nature listening to birds and admiring beautiful trees. The paths are well-maintained.

Hi! This is an amazingly kind and well-detailed review -- thank you! One thing of note, though, we do not have free admission on weekdays. Visitors are $9/adults; $6/Seniors 65+/Active Military; $4/Children 4-12; free/.children 3 and under; and $2/dogs.
Again, thank you for this wonderful review -- it's the support of friends like that makes all we do possible!

Not a cheap place to visit. The trails are great but compared as there are a lot of free state parks to visit locally, I wouldn't go back

Cincinnati is so lucky to have The Nature Center. Miles of groomed trails, so much to learn and truly something for everyone. Kids of all ages can enjoy the playscape— an amazing hands on nature experience. We love sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch of the log cabin, hiking new trails and looking for fossils in the streams.
The staff is friendly and helpful. Best “park” in Cincinnati!

To go for a day is around $7-$9 or you can get an annual one for individuals or families. A family membership is $84 for 1 year
