Two friends and I visited and were delighted with both the house and the museum. The museum lays out the lives of Warren and Florence Harding in illustrated detail. Most surprising were the solid accomplishments of Harding as President. None of us, although we love history, knew about his contributions to our country.

The house, which we had visited 30 years ago, is wonderfully restored and brightened according to Mrs. Harding's choices of a hundred years ago. The tour has just 10 people, so we all fit in the rooms and could hear. The guides know their stuff and enjoy their vocation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We had lunch at Attaboy's--great food.

The Harding House and Presidential Museum is well worth a stop if you are in the area, or even worth a short day trip. The house tour is a guided tour and the home contains a lot of personal belongings and furniture that belonged to the Hardings. The home is where he ran his “front porch” campaign. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the museum because we were pressed for time, but we did watch the short film which educates you about the Hardings.

I visited the Warren G. Harding Presidential home and museum on 09/17/2021 and it is definitely worth checking out. The home is modest compared to other Presidential homes that I have visited. However, the home has recently been restored and 95% of the items in the home are original. which is impressive as several that I have visited have a lot of duplicates and period pieces. The tour guide, Shannon, was very welcoming and really knowledgeable. He did a great job explaining many aspects of the home and answering any questions that we had. At the time I write this, the museum is the newest one of the presidential museums. As with the home, the museum is not very large but it is immaculate and nearly all of the items are original and the staff is wonderful. Between the tour, videos, and strolling the museum, it was a great way to spend an afternoon. They allow pictures in the museum and the grounds but not in the home itself. I highly recommend visiting this home and museum.

We enjoyed the tour of the Harding home conducted by Theodore, our knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. 95% of the furnishings in the home belonged to the Hardings. The house contained a 100 lb. Icebox which was needed for their frequent, but small dinner parties. The front porch was where the presidential campaign took place and where 600,000 people came to hear his speeches. All the grass on the front lawn had to be replaced with gravel because the lawn was trampled by so many visitors.
The adjacent museum tells the story of Hoardings life. There is no attempt to hide the President,s infidelities nor the DNA evidence confirming the birth of an out of wedlock child. He was known for his Return to Normalcy program following WWl and the Teapot Dome scandal which came to light following his untimely death.
Well done.

Every employee was engaging, enthusiastic and willing to answer any questions. The site is painstakingly taken care of and restored. Great place to spend 2/3 hours at library, grounds and home tour. Affordable too. $72 for 4 adults with one 14 year old. You can see where your admission goes. Beautiful

Museum has some interesting artifacts for Harding, but the house tour is really where this location shines! Our guide, Theodore, was super knowledgeable and added a lot of humor to the tour. The house is gorgeous. The only downside is no photos were allowed inside, wish the museum had a booklet that had pictures of the inside of the house available.

We toured just the museum, but the staff offered to answer any questions and were very friendly. We learned quite a bit about Harding watching the movie. The house is right next to the museum and the campaign front porch is massive. We also saw the burial monument which is impressive.

Shannon was a magnificent guide. He was compelling, clear, and clever! His depth of knowledge and passion for the preservation and promotion of the Harding Home were palpable. I was so enthusiastic about him that I leaned a bit heavily on the alliteration.

The house itself is beautiful and remarkably well preserved. No photography is allowed inside and from a short Google search it looks like all the interior shots online from the National Park Service predate the 2017 restoration project and are outdated/inaccurate so you really need to see this place for yourself!

The museum is thorough, immaculate, organized, and contains many original artifacts. I came knowing almost nothing about Harding (I’m more versed on Revolutionary Era History since I work in Historic Philadelphia) and I feel like I came away from this experience with a complex understanding of his and Florence’s lives and the presidency.

The Harding Tomb monument is architecturally breathtaking in its manicured landscape. It’s only a short drive from the museum and we enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch there on a blanket under the shade of a tree.

All of these things are easy to find driving and affordable. A must see if you ask me.

The guided tour was very interesting. Small groups so you could ask questions and converse easily. Amazing to see things as they were in his home, and imagine his front porch campaign with so many people coming to listen to his speeches.
