An orchard dated back to the 1870s that fell in too disrepair and is has now been lovingly restored to its former glory. another attraction that you visit during the next trip to the nearby open range zoo

Down behind the Werribee mansion farms is a little path leading to the heritage fruit tree orchard. There are steep stairs but once you get to the bottom you find a pretty spot for a meander or a picnic.

Situated in Werribee Park next to the Mansion. Wonderful homestead, cottages, black smith shop and farm buildings build in brick. Inside of the buildings were not displayed. Variety of old farm machinery in out door display. One special Grafting Day is arranged for each summer...More

First established in the early 1800's to provide fruit for the Chirnsides of the Werribee Mansion, a wander through the orchard is a wander through early Victoria horticultural history.
