Beware hours are limited. 1:30 to 4:30pm as it is run by some fantastic volunteers. My mum and I spent two hours strolling through the wonderful collection of local and regional history. Well presented displays, video of old movie clips running continually, highly knowledgeable local guide. A must for visitors to the area.

My wife and I thought we would drop in and have a look at the museum on the way back to Devonport. First impression was....its a bit run down. And it is, but after talking to the friendly VOLUNTEER staff member you realize they are doing the best they can until funds are injected in. Council....get some money together and give this place a lick of paint, especially the open/entrance signs at the road. Overall, they have a good collection of things and at only $5 entry for an adult it is an affordable bit of history to check out.
