A small group of us chose to do the Leven Canyon floor walk. We were expecting a non-flat path and were not disappointed. There were plenty of steps and the view at the bottom made the walk worthwhile. However the tourist brochures do not necessarily...More

This incredible part of Tasmania has to be one of their best kept secrets. Very few we spoke to knew much about it but we are glad we did give it a try. A 500M walk to either of the lookout points is a bit...More

You need to be reasonably fit for this as depending on how you decide to tackle this there are something like 537 steps to climb to the top lookout, but on reaching the top the view is magnificent, there is a lookout at a lower...More

An easy walk to the lookout good for all ages. On arrival at the lookout a very spectacular view looking down the Leven River Gorge, also looking up river Black Bluff mountain overshadowing the river and bushland.

The walk around the canyon is well worth it. Grab your camera, comfortable shoes and a bottle of water each and start. The walk to the viewing platform is about 15 mins from the carpark and the scenery is just beautiful. Next part is down...More

We really enjoyed the great views at Levan Canyon, and glad we took a look when holidaying in North West Tasmania. There are a range of enjoyable walks.
