Great family fun @ weekly Trivia Night
Apr 2021 • Family
What a wonderful little set up!
Most of our fairly large crew went for the Taco Tuesday offerings and raved about the delicious pulled pork, the magnificent lamb nachos and everything else they ordered. For $10, the curried cauliflower was also great value - a massive bowl of tasty, crispy, healthy deliciousness.
The trivia night was lots of fun too.. very smoothly conducted with teams of ppl from 3 to 10 about the place, as well as a few punters not involved, but just enjoying a quiet one at the bar.
Food was served until 7 when the game started; the night went until about 9.
Great that the kids could run around on the large deck outside when they needed some space and fresh air.
Exceptionally friendly and professional service from the young team running the bar on the night.
Shout out to Archer in particular; welcoming, efficient, knowledgeable and professional.. what a star!

Great spot for a beer
Feb 2021 • Couples
Button beer is great and this is a beautiful spot overlooking the river to sit and drink it ! Staff are friendly with lots of beers on tap and a wine list there’s something to suit everyone.

What a find! Returned here 3 times in our 10 day Tassie tour. Great selection of fun bar snacks - PICKLE CHIPS!! Fantastic selection of beers and all were high quality, brewing team clearly know what they are doing. Staff were just awesome, even our kids loved visiting. Very busy each time we came with a welcoming, community vibe. We have decided to move to Ulverstone from Victoria this year and Buttons was a big part of that decision. Well done to all involved.

Has Potential
Dec 2019
This place is still relatively new so they do have adjustments to be made to make it far more appealing. An example of this is the table tops are extremely rustic, read 'uneven'. Apparently after a three month 'probationary' period they will determine whether the place is viable and will do something about the tables then. Personally I think that should be addressed in some way long before then. Glasses are quite easily knocked between the slats. The food options being more bar snacks are quite good, but once again room for improvement and additional options added. Hopefully they will power ahead with this place as it is in a sensational location & you are not restricted to drinking beer. Wine options are limited but fine. Keeping a rustic feel is perfectly fine too, however this is next level of rustic.

Small Craft Brewery
Dec 2019
Only been open for about 3 weeks so needs a few minor tweeks re seating and tables though rustic appeal is good. Great brew, pricing a bit on the heavy side for craft beer by a small brewery system. Maybe as it expands pricing will trim down more to about 30-50% less.

A new little brewery with bar with a big selection local craft beer on the north west coast of Tasmania, limited opening times due to local restrictions, no food but order a Pizza delivery,
drink some take some with you.
