Lots to look at for free not only about wool, but Tasmanian history. Shop is very pricey, but I am unsure maybe that is standard price.

Superb range of wool clothes and other related bits. The small wool and local history museum was a delight. Worth the small diversion off the highway.

The clothes are very beautiful and expensive but the history of wool and the surrounding area is good and worth the visit

Sheep are a big part of the economy in the Midlands of Tasmania, if you are looking for high quality woolen souvenirs and/or clothing you will probably find what you are looking for here.

Located near the end of the main street in Ross, this place lets visitors buy locally made wool products. There is also a small exhibit on the history of wool. Educational, with nice wool products which might be pricey for some.

I had expected more, there was a simplistic overview of the wool industry, for an area with preeminent credentials in world class wool i was expecting more. The museum also has a scattering of information on the convicts, the bridge, the female factory as well...More
