Went along by myself to visit this iconic place which has, for years, sold the most lovely and comfy garments. Very sadly, the business has closed down. The aged proprietors closed the doors when they were unable to secure someone to take it over.

Thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately we couldn't compete with imported knitwear at much lower prices. Our costs went up and finally due to ill health we decided it was time to exit.

It is a tragedy that this iconic Oatlands business has ceased trading. The knitwear was exquiste and the cafe served beautiful meals in an ideal location.

Thank you for the kind words. Unfortunately we couldn't compete on price with imported products and our costs kept rising.

Casaveen Knitwear has closed owing to retirement of the owners and no one wishing to buy the business.

My husband and I drove to Oatlands to find a true blue Aussie product and we were not disappointed. Very helpful staff and casual making us feel good trying the different styles.

On a visit to Oatlands called in to Casaveen and was sad to hear that the business is closing down as I have at least 9 of their wonderful garments.. So had to add another one to my collection.

I have been a couple of times to Casaveen and even bought two jumpers. However, I found hat there is not enough patterned knitwear to chose from. When I went back the third time I found something reasonable attractive. The knitwear is exorbitantly expensive but...More

This shop sells sweaters, hats, gloves and scarfs all knitted in excellent quality wool. There is a wide variety of colours, styles and sizes, but everything is beautifully made. The assistants were very willing to help. There is also a café and small exhibition about...More

Purchased a couple of sweaters, hat and scarf. Everything beautifully made, lovely thick wool. The knitwear is not inexpensive, but well worth it because of the quality.
