Departing from Coles Bay, it's the fastest way to Wineglass Bay.Combine cruising and walking to experience Freycinet in a unique way. Scheduled sailings depart daily and are a popular way to experience the Freycinet National Park walking tracks. Whether you’re after a short walk, a long hike, or simply to spend the day on a secluded beach- we have an option for you. One way or return. If you're heading to Wineglass Bay avoid the steep track over the mountain and take the taxi. Avoid the busy summer crowd. The taxi can have you in the National Park in 20 mins- shorter time than it takes to find a carpark in January!

This is just the best business going in the area. If you want to get to Wineglass Bay take this aqua taxi and do not book the more expensive Wineglass Bay Cruise as it cannot 100% guarantee to get you to the bay and if you do get there they only anchor in the bay. With the aqua taxi, you can pack a lunch or snacks, get off at hazards beach, which is nice in itself, then take an easy 30 minute walk across the Wineglass Bay which is well worth it. The Aqua taxi will then pick you up at a designated time - I stayed for 2 hours which suited me on the day but you could spend a whole day. There are other drop off points as well. I met one whose partner went to another drop off point further around from hazards beach and walked back to Wineglass Bay to be picked up later. Cannot recommend this service enough - do yourself a favour and check it out ....If you are a group and want to go together, best check and book ahead as I am not sure how many the taxi can hold, maybe 10 or 12? Thank you for getting me to Wineglass Bay - made my trip...

Freycinet Aqua Taxi are a professional, reliable company and I can highly recommend them for services around Coles Bay. My wife was pregnant, so we discussed of some our concerns with the company. They were very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Our boat operator (Taz) had great local knowledge of the area, especially Schouten Island, which is an amazing place to visit.

Great service provided by all at Freycinet Aqua Taxi. Received a phone call the morning of our trip to advise about change in weather conditions and arrangements made for an earlier pick up. Boat was very easy to board and disembark. The roll out ramp was great and made access to the beach very easy.
Tas took our group of seven on the journey to Hazards Beach drop off. He explained things along the way and also advised us as to the trails we needed to follow.
Nathan picked us up in the afternoon, bringing the boat in to the beach in some very choppy water, with bad weather coming in. Whilst the ride back was not as smooth as the ride over, we were grateful for Nathan's expertise in handling the boat in bad weather. Our whole group was very happy with our dealings with Freycinet Aqua Taxis.

So glad we found this convenient service.
My daughter and I were greeted exactly on time at the boat ramp by an extremely pleasant young skipper. The other 6 guest arrived and we were off straight away. We all got dropped at Hazards beach and did the 4km round trip to Wineglass Bay before meeting the boat back at the same beach.
The skipper and his offsider were really welcoming, knowledgeable and relaxed. The boat was immaculate and the trip was pleasant.
The fare was well worth the money. No parking hassles or crowds like at the popular lookout.
Definitely recommend this one any day 👍

Everything went like clockwork and the easy and pretty walk from Hazards beach to Wineglass Bay was lovely for us who are not serious hikers. Boat captain was friendly and helpful, would recommend. Beautiful colourful rocks for scrambling on at the destination also

The Aqua Taxi was an amazing experience. It is a purpose built boat that gives great access to the most beautiful areas of Freycinet, the coastline is amazing. Nathan is a great skipper and took time to show off a few wildlife highlights that he knew about on the day. Can't wait to do is again!

The Freycinet water taxi is an excellent service and a great way to see the area. I was unable to do a long-planned and looked forward to walk into Wineglass Bay with friends and family, but with the help of Nathan and his water taxi I was able to Join everyone on Wineglass Bay Beach for lunch and still be a part of the day. I was dropped off at Hazards Beach and made the fairy easy walk across the isthmus to Wineglass. Nathan picked me up again a few hours later. On the way there and back we saw spectacular scenery, including the local seals. I would highly recommend this as an option to anyone who for whatever reason might want a shortcut to or from Wineglass Bay or other locations in the area. Nathan was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Brilliant service from Nathan, we were staying at Dolphin sands and we had booked the wineglass bay cruise, which was all you can drink wines, and didnt want to drive the 45min trip around to the jetty, and Nathan was kind enough to transfer us to the ferry terminal from bagot point, Dolphin sands. This was super convenient as there were no taxi services or shuttle buses. Highly recommend. 10/10!

Ride was bumpy but fun and safe.
20 minutes from Coles bay to Hazard bay, from there 30 minutes walk to Wine glass bay.
Our return boat was 1 hour delayed from schedule time.
Hope they would have alerted us that bit advanced (may be by sms or phone call).

Thanks for your feedback, you're right- our skippers do a great job of keeping everyone safe and comfortable on the water. For your information our office team always reach out to guests if we have any changes in departure time. Once our guests are in the National Park on occsaion thier phone may not have the best service and don't get messages or calls. Happy travels :)

Great service! We called Annette the morning of our planned hike, and she provided thoughtful and very welcome advice to ensure our walk went smoothly. Due to our disorganisation, we'd missed the 12pm pickup but Annette swiftly arranged a later pickup for us and warned us against delaying to the next day due to the forecast wind (woke up the following day very grateful for this advice as it was indeed too choppy to be enjoyable). Travelling in our family was two adults and two children aged 5 & 9- experienced hikers but the 5 year old wasn't quite 100% and still recovering from an earlier illness. After dropping the children and one adult at the lookout car park, it was a half an hour walk from freycinet lodge for the other adult to meet everyone back at the carpark. We then walked up to wineglass lookout, then down to wineglass bay, and finally across to hazards beach, where skipper Earl punctually collected us and transported us home, saving a couple of hours extra walking. We stopped by a seal colony on the way, delighting the children. The taxi is not cheap but worth it to discover these areas with our children (and barely any complaints from them about sore legs!).
