My adult children completed the running half marathon and 6km marathon that was heks on this track. Derby tiwn itself is reallt worth a visit, a quaint spot with goid cafes and really friendly people

Amongst the best mountain bike riding in the world. A whole range of trails from green to black that are maintained. Blue Tier track is probably the best run I have ever done. Plenty of commercial shuttles to get you up to the trail heads...More

Between April and October the days are also shorter in relation to daylight hours. Avoid Derby River Derby weekend unless you want to also participate in the raft race down the river. Rocks on the track can be quite icy... More

Blue Tier and Weldborough trails just closed - those around Derby still open - but should be opening again in September. Not sure exact dates - check Blue Derby mountain bike trails on Facebook for updates
