The garden despite being late Autumn was spectacular as ever, the attentive and helpful custodians ,especially those in the house , make the visit even more interesting with their knowledge and enthusiasm!!

I've visited here multiple times and the grounds are stunning. The restaurant however is always a disappointment. The food is meagre, extortionate and almost pitiful. I had the beef gratin which was supposed to come with seasonal vegetables. It should just say an embarrassingly small...More

We had a fabulous day. The young children enjoyed the treasure hunt, trying to find seeds, red flowers, pine cones etc. Great fun. Fortunately it was dry and sunny. We ate in the cafe and walked through the woods and through the walled garden. We...More

As a family we like to meet up at National Trust and similar properties, and it always includes lunch/afternoon tea. We were shown around the gardens by one of the expert volunteers. We’ll try to use that facility more often as it was so informative...More

Hi just seen the reply to your question. You CANNOT enter Nymans via the shop. I'm afraid you need to pay an entrance fee or join the NT.
