Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Love the old time feel of going to the drive in! My kids love going. They have a little concession stand to get popcorn & treats. The pizza is not good. Overall the place is maintained. The bathrooms are decent. I like that you can buy tickets online ahead of time because they do sell out on some features.

First time ever attending any type of outside movie house under the stars. This is a great place to bring the kids and the family pet on a leash. Great parking, Awesome Popcorn, great staff and really a bargain when you factor in location, staff and food. I give this place 4 stars of excellence. My kids really enjoyed see spider man and were asleep for the double feature. You can even bring in your own food with the purchase of a food permit for $5.00. The theatre has clean restrooms and their staff is always aiming to please. If your in the mood for something different, exciting and adventurous - Visit Holiday Auto Theatre. All Pros except for their pricing - a little high at $8.50 pp and but they need to lower their price or maybe consider a family coupon in the local newspaper or the entertainment book to make it more reasonable for their patrons with family's like ours...

A Classic oldie but a goodie when it comes to Drive-in's....This drive-in is small but quaint with a lot of class. Holiday has so much class and excellent staff aiming to please. Restrooms are clean, snack bar is small but tidy and a lot of items to choose from I wish they offered soft serve ice cream and/or slushies. But they do have an outdooor vendor that sells Hawaiian Ice at a nominal fee. Where else can you go and get two movies for the price of one and really good cartoons in between movies.
They are also big with concerns of Covid-19 with the staff wearing masks and wearing PPE in the snack bar. They also have security from the local sheriff's office and emergency squad from time to time. There popcorn is a little pricey and there food combo's are at the high spectrum $$$, so don't forget your credit card at home! They do allow you to bring in food from outside as long ass you purchase a food permit at a nominal fee; which is great when your on a budget.
The night we went perfect weather and we also brought our dog name Jack. They allow dogs and cats as long as you pickup after them and they are leashed but beware of the coyotes and other animals in the woods surrounding the
theater. Overall we had a great time, great weather and awesome atmosphere along with friendly people who run it.

Holiday Auto Theater has been in Hamilton for years. It's a great place to bring the family for a classic drive-in experience with the added benefit of seeing multiple block buster movies at unbeatable prices

Enjoyed our visit to the drive in. Hasn't really changed much in 40 years but that's part of the charm. Would totally recommend this for everyone!

My family and our friends love going to the drive in. There is a large grass area for the kids to play in the front to help pass the time so bring your Frisbees, baseballs, etc. The price to get in isn't much when you consider getting 2 movies for that price and the price of indoor movies and you don't have the convenience of parking and spending time with your family while waiting for the movie to start. For $5 you can bring in your own food and drinks and they give you a $3 credit towards concessions if you do this, so a real bargain. We load up the cooler and bring our dinner and have a fun time. It is very family friendly. Get there early to make sure you get a spot as first time showing of family movies especially sell out fast.

In the 1950s and 1960s our families spent many happy evenings enjoying good movies at Drive Ins. In the 1970s and 1980s our family did the same. And now since the 1990s to present we've made new memories taking our Grandchildren to the Holiday Drive In to enjoy Double Features of Great current movies that show in theaters.
We can laugh, cry, or talk and eat from the Refreshment Stand featuring the same fresh food and same Intermission Count Down show as we did in the 1950s. If you want a Blast from the Past while making new memories you must visit one of the Last Family Fun spots in our area. When it wasn't full in the past we would park in between two speakers to get stereo. Today you listen through your own clear Stereo vehicle speaker system. The best just keeps getting better!

This place is great, they play two first-run movies for a very good price. the retro style is everywhere from the signage, to the preview clips, to the friendly service. (Although I remember the old days of hanging the speakers from your windows... This place has a radio frequency that you tune in to hear the show)
The concession stand is actually fairly good too, with classic ice cream truck style goodies, popcorn, nachos, pretzels, etc. They even have pizza, burgers, and chicken strips and French fries. The popcorn is movietheater delicious, and cheaper than your typical theater too!

Come early though, the place fills up fast and well before showtime. It is a great classic family night out, well worth the price of admission.
