Standard town around, with easy cheap parking. However Catherine hill was lovely, gorgeous little independent stores and coffee shops. Nothing seems to open and get buzzy until 11am. Very cute will definitely visit again if in the area again.

This is a long, winding, steep hill that climbs out of the centre of the town. It's very old & cobbled so you need to take care when walking. Both sides have small independent shops. On first Sunday in the month in Summer, when the...More

A lovely street full of a wide range of interesting shops. The hill is steep and cobbled, so be careful if it's wet!

very picturesque - such a shame we visited on a sunday when almost all of the shops were closed! we will definitely return & hopefully visit the market as well as the very interesting independent shops on the Hill.

It is a hill and it is cobbled bit it's is worth the walk. One of Frome old streets with a new character.

A hidden gem not noticeable as you drive through Frome, but climb up from Stoney Street to the top of Catherine Hill and the rewards are great. Artisan shops and cafes, restored cobbled street and quaint houses, Catherine Hill is well worth exploring

It’s a very steep walk up St. Catherine’s but brace yourself and make the effort because it’s certainly worth it for the lovely variety of independent shops and cafes.

That is a tricky question to answer as a lot of the shops are individually owned and each owner probably has a different point of view. It also depends on the size of the dog... You would always leave your dog outside as it... More

A few are open on a Sunday however most are open when the independent markets are running on the first Sunday of the month.
