A micropub specialising in all that is beer. With 4 ever changing cask beers, craft beer by the bottle and traditional ciders on tap. We also have a small selection of quality wine, soft drinks and if course, pies! We don't have...music, tv, alcopopsor spirits, as per the original micropub ethos

This is small but comfortable micro pub with a well kept choice of real ale, cider and bottled beer. It has a nice little bar and comfortable seating area and a great outdoor area when the weather is permitting. Google its whereabouts as it is...More

We were recommended this micropub by the local tourist information office, and it didn't disappoint! They stock a delicious range of cask ales, ciders and (just!) one (admittedly delicious!) larger. The non-alcoholic drinks were apparently great too! Hidden down a little alleyway, the courtyard was...More

With Berwick astride the border for millennia, let’s not get tied down on England or Scotland proclivities and just say that this is the best pub in Great Britain. Sorry Wales.

A micro pub which had everything you could want. Three constantly changing real ales as well as draught cider, the quality is superb. There is a courtyard for outdoor drinking with heaters if needed and very friendly and knowledgable staff.

On our first proper stay in Berwick it was great to stumble across The Curfew micro pub. Easily missable as it’s entrance is up a narrow alley on a street slightly off the beaten track, however if you were able to either do the same...More

A welcomed break and a pint during a walk around Berwick's Walls. Decent enough place, friendly staff and had a nice pint of Tap Out. I assume the name is taken from the nightly curfew of the town during historical times?

We noticed The Curfew by chance & visited 3 times during our weekend stay. My husband enjoyed the selection of beers & I enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine in a lovely cobbled yard. Fabulous atmosphere, brilliant staff

Early evening visit was well rewarded. Good selection of draught beers and ciders plus huge amount bottled in a small bar, which is tucked away down an alley. There is a "beer garden" which gets early day sun. Not sure when it opens but it...More
