Checked this beach out on our visit to the castle, this coastline has to be the finest in the UK, helps that the weather was fine and i guess the reason they are so unspoilt is precisely because of the weather.

The beach and dunes are absolutely incredible. The beach is long and wide and wonderful sand, the dunes have pathways running hither. A great place to walk whatever the weather.

Such a beautiful beach. If we got sun like Spain I would happily go there every summer. You can see for miles.

A great beach just north of Bamburgh with great views of Holy Island. Very exposed so dress well on windy days.

Excellent beach. You could be anywhere in the world if you get the weather. It is quite exposed so if you have young children like us, check the forecast and invest in a wind break as it can get a bit chilly in the wind...More

Great views to Holy Island. Long, sweeping beach. Definitely worth a visit. There is also a circular walk.

Don’t tell anyone but this beach is AMAZING. It’s down a track by a farm , you park on the road side. The beach is breathtaking and so quiet, it’s truly a hidden gem, just don’t tell anyone.

It's signposted as a footpath near the cottages....a walk across the dunes straight to the beach....about 15 mins walk.
