Excellent beach. You could be anywhere in the world if you get the weather. It is quite exposed so if you have young children like us, check the forecast and invest in a wind break as it can get a bit chilly in the wind...More

Great views to Holy Island. Long, sweeping beach. Definitely worth a visit. There is also a circular walk.

Don’t tell anyone but this beach is AMAZING. It’s down a track by a farm , you park on the road side. The beach is breathtaking and so quiet, it’s truly a hidden gem, just don’t tell anyone.

This is one of the best beaches in the area. It is reached by a walk through farmland and dunes and opens up to provide a wonderful expanse of beautiful golden sand with views of both Lindisfarne and Bamburgh castles. Well worth the effort to...More

We just LOVE this walk and were delighted to return here after a while away from the place. You park at the end of a narrow no-through road (signposted to Ross Farm) and then walk across farmland and open space to the dunes, then across...More

One of the most spectacular stunning beaches we have visited anywhere with great views to Lindisfarne Castle, the Farne Islands and Bamburgh Castle. This beautiful wide beach has clean white sand, and there is hardly a soul to be seen on it!. A picture card...More

Well worth the long walk. Peaceful empty beach, fantastic wave action. Great views of Bamburg Castle and Holy Island. Hike through pastures and dunes afford many photo opportunities. The break onto the beach is breathtaking! Will go again! No facilities so haul it in and...More

I like this beach, sad though that when I visited today it was so windy on the coastline it couldn't be enjoyed without being thrown about

Such a beautiful beach. Unspoilt. Masses of space to other walkers with dogs. No evidence of plastic debris

Worth the walk from the car park as you get one of the best beaches in the UK pretty much to yourselves! Take a picnic, take some beach sports and escape the crowds of Bamburgh.
