I was just talking about this place when I realised I hadn't given it a review. Called in here last month with my wife, having read about its great range of whiskies. It doesn't look much from the outside, the empty pub sign frame the...More

Fabulous small pub with huge selection of beers and ciders both bottled and on draught. Nice to see unusual stuff like porter, too. Went here when visiting Alnwick last year and it was great. Back again, it was first port of call last night and...More

We recently had a short stay in Alnwick, and this pub was recommended to us by a local. And we were mightily impressed! As an avid real ale and whisky drinker, this pub ticks all my boxes! Lovely beer and warm welcome. Hidden gem!

heard about their selection of beers and went along whilst we were visiting Alnwick. It's a 6 minute walk up slight hill from the main street, but worth a visit - it is a good old fashioned local pub with a relaxed atmosphere and nothing...More

Very traditional pub - a proper drinking pub with none of the distractions modern pubs offer. Range of well-kept real ales and a range of whiskeys - over 200! They are not all on display but the two-sided list on A4 is there for you...More
