Visited with our two young children and we all enjoyed doing the giant trail. Lots to do for the children and lovely gardens.

Loved walking through the gardens...especially the poison garden. Incredible that this type of garden was created.

Enjoyable day out to visit the castle and gardens. Gardens are very well-maintained. Bought advanced online as this is cheaper. Admissions was straight forward using online tickets.

This was such a lovely way to just slow down and literally smell the roses. :) The Duchess was kind enough to fill this place with over 300+ kinds of different roses, a Poison Garden to explore (carefully lol) and a lovely Fountain that dances...More

It was the most perfect day weather wise and the gardens were so beautiful. The poison garden was very interesting and the bamboo maze was stunning. The formal gardens, water features and small quirky lake makes you appreciate how much thought and hard work goes...More

Beautiful contrived gardens. Lots to see even in October. The highlight for us was the garden featuring the poison plants. There was a guide who explained the properties of each of the plants. Our guide also took us around the main garden including all the...More

If you have young children then I would recommend separate trips to garden and castle. It’s a huge place to visit with so much to do. We were there all day and still didn’t get an opportunity to see it all.
