Visited here at the Christmas period. Great morning out with plenty going on. Had a nice lunch at the restaurant. Great value having a season ticket.

The gardens are amazing, regular visitors and always enjoy our trips, even the kids are happy to wander around, and the kids trails are always a hit. And love the shop always come away with something especially like the gin!

This is a fantastic Garden with lots to see and appreciate. They should be commended for the variety of things to see and do for all ages.

Spent about 3 hours in the gardens. The teenager and family enjoyed the skating rink as beginners. Garden's maturing well and the cascade is spectacular. It's easy to walk into alnwick centre from the gardens. Good value and a pleasant day out.

Alnwick Garden is a beautiful place to visit, regardless of age. However, we visited there to take advantage of the ice skating with friends and our three young children. What a disappointment! This was NOT ice-skating. This was stomping in a circle on what can...More

Well, we are friends of The Alnwick Garden and love all aspects of it. BUT, we went up for fish n chips Saturday to be told that new caterers taking over in Jan 19 do not want the chip shop. I do hope they will...More

We visited the Alnwick Gardens while we were seeing family over the festive period. We had booked tickets for the light show and certainly weren’t disappointed! The gardens are extremely well kept, the staff were friendly and the light show obviously had an awful lot...More

What can I say, ice skating it was not! A few tiles of plastic which were barely slippery, certainly skating was not possible. It could be magical to skate in this setting, sadly it’s a rip-off! The light show was mediocre at best, certainly no...More

Very disappointed with the Christmas light so called show. It was more of a trek around the gardens with some pretty lights. A lot of people, including us, were waiting around the main viewing area of the fountains waiting for the ‘show’ to happen. We...More

I’ve been to a few events at Alnwick gardens and have always felt underwhelmed. I had hopes that the light show would be different. Especially at £15.00 p/p!! It started off well and seemed to be quite promising - for the first 5 mins! Most...More

If you have young children then I would recommend separate trips to garden and castle. It’s a huge place to visit with so much to do. We were there all day and still didn’t get an opportunity to see it all.
