A beautiful market with a great mix of stalls. We visited on the Saturday when there were an assortment of craft style stalls, which is what we love so obviously biased in my opinion. The stall holders, and other shopkeepers were knowledgable and friendly. Definitely...More

Thank you for your lovely review of Alnwick Markets and the town. We are pleased you enjoyed the mix of craft stalls, typically we do have more fresh produce, but circumstances on that particular Saturday meant they were unable to attend. We hope to see...More

Attended the North taste event at the market. Good range of stalls selling tasty foods, football was on so market not too busy which meant there was space to explore. Bought a lovely hand woven basket which is perfect for carrying my cakes in. Went...More

I recently visited the Market Place in Alnwick on a beautiful warm summer morning when local food products were being show-cased and the atmosphere was excellent. There were musical interludes including the playing of Northumbria music by pupils at the Duchess High school. This was...More

Thank you for you lovely review of Alnwick Markets, we love featuring local artists and in particular hearing the Duchess High School perform. It would be lovely to have such a wide variety of stalls in the Market Place every Saturday to compliment our existing...More

Went to the market and spoke to a guy in a hi-viz jacket who worked for the market authority, he told me all about the Northumberland flag and offered advice on local places to eat and drink. A lovely town centre that has kept it...More

Thank you Pam, it’s difficult to confirm each and every trader for each market. We did have a couple of cancellations which was disappointing but we do have a record of 23+ traders attending tomorrow with lots of fresh local produce, cheese, meat, sausages, bread,...More

We visited Alnwick on a Saturday and luckily in addition to the market the food festival was on. We had a look round the food festival and then the market. The market had a variety of stalls, but not many of them. I don’t know...More

The title says it all. I even contacted the market folk through Facebook before I went and was assured there would be many stands with local produce: there were none. Beautiful little town square but a mediocre market on a regular Saturday.

So much going on with a lovely atmosphere and plenty of differing stalls, including live music. My home town of Northampton should visit and learn experiences, We liked the wonderful animals
