Although Sleaford has a fabulous church the Handly monument is more of a disaster. Lying prominent at the end of the main high street you can't miss it but rush out there to look its nothing special and not worth the effort.

When you come into Sleaford over the railway crossing, where the junction of the roads meet past the zebra crossing it is on the left side of the road. Not worth a special visit, denfinatley not Nelson's column

Visited Sleaford and walked along the main street and found this monument. It is very large and one of Sleafords best known landmarks.Definitely worth looking out for.
