Went in for a drink while walking around town, what an experience...
The bar staff looked like they were community service types, and needed a wash, never mind the place itself.
The toilets were revolting, but to be fair, the guy who was too drunk...More
Was in this not so fine toilet last night. The bouncer was unpleasent to say the least. The one with the specs and rough beard. He was refusing soliders at the door left right and centre. When asked why he give it all the usaul...More
This was the 1st pub we visited on our recent trip. Have never been in before and needless to say will never be going again !! To briefly describe - dark, dingy, fusty, sticky, smelly, noisy, slow service, not particularly cheap, white wine was described...More
Been the same for years. Ok place for a few drinks. Pool table, dance floor. It looks small inside but deceiving it is bigger than you think. Staff do the job and do it well. The place is a little grubby with dirty floors and...More
Went here one night. Very crowded, floor sticky, loud music. Toilets were disgusting and didn't lock, there was water all over the toilet floor in the ladies. And as for the bar prices I was charged £2.20 for half a coke! The lager was cheaper...More
Stumbled upon this jaunty pub recently and was very pleased.
Fairly standard bar at average prices, pool table, jukebox, quiz machines, an outdoor area - with cover in places.......AND the bar itself is a wooden ship. Has to be seen to be appreciated.
Just around the corner from the towny hell that is offered by other bars is this slightly alternative pub. Always music playing and reasonable prices. Always had a good time in here. Probably my favourite pub in cleethorpes.
